I have to say, for a bridal shower, Arcadia Farms hits the nail right on the head. It was the perfect way to celebrate my friend Cassie’s special day. I was with my friend Maggie (future sister-in-law of the bride who helped host the shower) when she had the idea for the location, and it definitely did not disappoint! The private rooms(s) they have (okay, I only saw the one we used, but I know they have others) are super cute and not only was their food SUUUUPER delish, but it was presented so well too!
For the main course we had many choices, strawberry salad with chicken, salmon with mixed greens and baby root veggies, chicken sandwich with artichoke and sun dried tomato… and then TA DAH… my choice for the day, a mushroom, leek and goat cheese tart made with goat cheese from a local(ish) goat farm. OH MY GOSH… it was so good!
No cheesy bridal shower games for this classy shower… just a nice afternoon with friends, family, and a lot of great loot (they are registered at Crate & Barrel… and lots of gifts revolved around wine… whoops, haha)
Dessert followed the theme of super deliciousness. It was a very moist yellow cake with whipped frosting and fresh berries topped with dark chocolate shavings. And, it went perfectly with a large cup of coffee.
